Navigation

  • Use arrow keys to jump between days for quick hour entry.
  • Remember to SAVE with the blue button at the bottom right after entering hours.
  • When selecting a time type, you can also search by both project number and name. Again, you can use the first letters of the name or “%” before parts of the name to find the correct time type. Clicking the magnifying glass will show a list of all available time types. Enter the number of hours/supplements in the cells for the chosen days (use arrow keys between fields). Remember, at least 7.5 hours must be logged each day. If you've taken compensatory time off, use the time type AVSP to fill the rest of the day. Use your customary Cost unit for these hours (administration/engineer/technical department).
  • You can add comments on hours/supplements – when you check "Show comments," you can click the clock/note icon in the hour field to open a comment box. Here, you can also enter the time you worked. Note that breaks cannot be deducted automatically, so if you choose to enter worked time by the clock (instead of just total hours), you must log two sessions: one before lunch and one after lunch.
  • Copying and deleting rows in the timesheet is done by clicking the paper and trashcan icons in front of each line. Deleting cell content (hours/supplements) is done by clearing the cell content. To add more logging rows, click the Add Row button. You can set the default number of rows in the Settings tab. Unsaved changes can be undone by clicking the Cancel button, which reverts the timesheet to its previous state.
  • When hours are entered, click the blue Save button at the bottom right. If you encounter an error when saving, it could be due to several reasons, such as logging more hours than allowed for the time type or entering an invalid combination of time type and work location. Read the error message and try to resolve the issue before contacting Linda or support.
  • When entering hours with decimals, note that the decimal indicates the percentage of an hour. For example, 3.75 hours means you worked 3 hours and 45 minutes. (In Tidsbanken, decimals indicated minutes.)

Cost unit

  • Check Show Cost unit description under the entry fields to easily see the name of selected Cost units.
  • When entering a Cost unit, you can search by both project number and name. To search by name, either use the first letters of the name or use % before parts of the name to select the correct Cost unit. You can also click the magnifying glass to view the list of all available Cost units.

Project roles

  • Project roles may generally remain the same when onshore but can vary offshore.

Work Location

  • Work location is selected similarly – we only have two options: OFF – Offshore or ONS – Onshore. Rotation is selected from a dropdown list with two options: 5-2 for regular hours and SPOROFF for offshore work.

Approval

  • Once the week is fully logged and everything looks correct, click the orange Sign button at the bottom right. The timesheet will then be forwarded to your manager for approval. If you do not fill out and sign your timesheet by Monday morning of the following week, you will receive an SMS reminder. The status of the week's timesheet is shown above the entry fields. Employees cannot make changes to approved timesheets – this must be done by someone with admin access (currently Linda and Morten).
