In iCORE, the term time type refers to the payroll code/wage type used when logging hours. Each time type has its own rule for wage calculation, min/max limits, rates, and combinations with wage types, work location, rotation, etc. This helps the system detect errors if incorrect value combinations are entered. 


Both time type and description are searchable terms when logging hours.
