A Cost Unit refers to which project or subproject should be charged for the work performed. 


When a Cost Unit is selected in the timesheet, iCORE and PowerOffice Go link the hours to the correct project and subproject. 


It is possible to generate time reports in iCORE continuously and in PowerOffice Go once the hours are transferred there (usually at the end of each month). Each Cost Unit has a unique ID and a corresponding description. Both the ID and description are searchable when finding a Cost Unit for time logging. Some Cost Units will only be open for certain employees to log hours, such as "Administration – Accounting"/ «Administrasjon – Regnskapsføring» which only the administration manager will use. 


Hired personnel will only have access to log hours on projects they are associated with.
