Optical control
The PTZ view gives the operator control over the different cameras.
- Connect
Connect to the two cameras using this button. It will be connected with the active settings listed using the connection option. - DisConnect
Disconnect cameras. - Joystick Control
This button sets the joystick as the main controller for the camera. - Connection options
- Clicking this button will open the Connection options view, as seen below.

Choose which camera to control using this button.
Properties Camera
- IP Adress
The IP address of the camera. - Port
The port the camera communication uses. - Username
The username the operator is logged in with. - Password
The password the operator is using for this session. - Gain X axis
Joystick setting. 50% is recommended value. - Gain Y axis
Joystick setting. 50% is recommended value. - Invert X
Invert joystick direction - Invert Y
Invert joystick direction - Invert Z

Practical tips:
- Make sure you record everything during the critical phase of the operation (grinding, setting habitat, inspection after welding etc.). It is better to record too much than too little.
- Screenshots are very useful when the time comes for reporting and documentation of the finished operation. It is easier to find a screenshot in a folder than viewing hours of video to make the same screengrab.
- Stop the recording before the critical phase of the operation and start it again. This will save the current video and start a new one, which make it easier to find the actual video clip you need, and you save time editing the video.
