The Emergency Quick Release (EQD) view shows status and gives you control over the EQD function.



  • Acc. Pressure
    • This gauge goes from 0 to 250 and indicates the accumulated pressure in the EQD-box in BAR.
  • Batt. Voltage
    • This gauge shows the voltage of the EQD battery, as the EQD function includes a seperate battery for the emergency function.
  • PWM Voltage
    • This gauge shows the current drawn by the output that controls the valve 
  • Supp Voltage
    • This gauge shows the current drawn by the supply current to the EQD-card, via the umbilical.


EQD Arming
This box contains controls to arm and disarm the EQD function, both manually and by timer.

  • Clock
    • Adjust Clock
      Use this button to set the clock to correct local time. 
  • Arm. Time
    Use this button to set the EQD arming time.
    • Arm
      Set Arm time.
    • Disarm
      Set Disarm time.

Adjust the time in the date&time-field and click the Set-button to register. 

  • Activate EQD
    This button activates the EQD with the settings the operator has registered. The EQD needs to be armed prior to this operation, which is shown with an orange frame when armed.


CAUTION: The EQD system is powered by batteries when power is turned off, in addition to stored hydraulic pressure in accumulators, which needs to be bled off and isolated when doing maintenance on magnets.
