Transportation
The Achilles robot must be transported in accordance with the mobilization procedure provided by Remotion. When returning equipment to shore, the demobilization procedure must be followed to ensure safe and efficient handling. These procedures are essential for protecting the robot and meeting offshore shipping standards.
It is critical that the robot and all related equipment are securely packed using approved methods to prevent damage during transit. Proper packaging ensures both the safety of the equipment and compliance with offshore requirements.
Achilles must never be placed on top of the LARS (Launch and Recovery System) during transport, as the system is not designed to support the robot in this way. Transport arrangements should always prioritize safety and stability, with all steps carried out by trained personnel to avoid unnecessary risks.
