The Peregrino Equinor portal training, E-learning courses for this project was:

Upon the arrival of the rope access team in Brazil, went through a series of courses to align with international standards. In Brazil, Irata (Industrial Rope Access Trade Association) had two relevant courses for this. NR35 is a regulation for work at heights above 2 meters. NR37, specific to the construction industry, focuses on safety and health for elevated tasks. Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (ABNT) ensures the technical standard NBR15475, for instructing rope access practices.

Offshore and Logistics

Import and export regulations for equipment in Brazil are strict. Therefore, it is important to maintain precise control over the contents of each shipment.  Every box, container, and similar packaging to include a list of its content. This creates overview and control over all sent and received equipment, this to avoid losing right of the items according REPRETO tax regime. When demobilizing the equipment, complications arose concerning its weight. If the equipment's weight deviates from the initial arrival weight, the shipment will be stopped.

Utilities impurities

The offshore diesel is in worse condition than typically seen in the North Sea. The diesel has more impurities which, leads to the need for more frequent filter maintenance on diesel driven machinery. This information is important to communicate with the company from which we are renting diesel machines. That way, the company can provide spare filters to meet the increased maintenance requirements.

The offshore water contains a high concentration of iron and chloride, affecting both the hydro blast machinery and its spare parts. This necessitates the mobilization of filters for water purification and additional spare parts to address the impact on the equipment.
