Daily preventive maintenance checks
To ensure the proper functioning of the Achilles Drive Unit engaged in operation, daily checks shall be conducted on site, by the operating personnel.
Daily checks should include:

Manually remove foreign objects and dirt of present |

Check that plug and cable connected to the drive unit are not damaged and properly connected. |

Perform an output shaft seal lubrication acc. to section 3.2 |

If connector disconnected relubricate with Molykote 55 |
|
CAUTION: When working on the robot, extra care must be taken to avoid direct contact between steel tools and magnets. Magnets are strong and can cause injuries. The magnets will also affect sensitive electronic and mechanical equipment such as mobile phones, watches and (bank) cards with magnetic strips. |
